The Power of Coaching The Power of Coaching is a life changing process. When one can experience total belief in one’s capabilities and potential; the opportunity for reflective practice and clarity of one’s goals; the intention of language and its resulting influence of feeling supported, believed in, and cared about while allowing one to find one’s own solutions… all of these and more create the deep appreciation and value for the training and experience of Leadership and Results Coaching. Whether the foundation of one’s knowledge and skills has birth in Cognitive Coaching® and/or Life Coaching or graduation from an accredited coaching program, the process of coaching is a gift given to others while it gives back enormously to the practitioner. In each conversation with a school leader or teacher, deep thinking and a renewed focus on the demanding and challenging work is experienced or witnessed. As educators create their own solutions, efficacy grows, blinking like a digital readout sign on their faces. As educators discover a new and exciting idea, hidden behind a layer of insecurity or doubt, confidence and craftsmanship is polished to a high luster. As educators verbalize the importance of considering all points of view, respect for the diversity of the individual waves like a flag of celebration. As educators network with others to consider a design for all students to benefit from new learning, interdependence is jumping with pom poms! With every conversation, deep and meaningful cognition illuminates possibility, brilliance and results. What a gift! Reflective Questions: Is coaching for me?
